Navajo made, this handsome piece is entirely hand fabricated from ingot silver. The stamp "coin silver" is not indicative of silver content, but is related to a company producing silver jewelry for the early 20th century tourist trade. The owner's surname was Coin. At any rate--coin silver, especially the early silver dollars, were as good or better than sterling for jewelry.
This bracelet is beautifully ornamented with hand-cut stamping, a striking rectangular turquoise stone from the Blue Gem mine with a little cut out, stamp-decorated geometric horse on either side. The bracelet itself is cut and split into a four band shank and tapers at each end.
It is very wearable and in perfect condition.
