Sterling silver tufa cast, mill rolled sheet and drawn wire were used to create earring pendants and dome "button" wires. Natural deep blue turquoise with red/ brown matrix from the Bisbee mine, was hand cut for the eight 1/8" diameter round inlays.
Tufa stone was carved for each of the symmetrical spiral pendants. Molten silver was poured into the mold this carving created. Round depressions were part of the carving and were refined with files before round turquoise stones were inlaid.
Silver sheet was cut into discs and each one was domed, using a repousse technique that required hammering the disc into a shallow rounded depression in a cottonwood stump. Sterling wire was soldered to the center inside of each dome and shaped.
