Sterling silver was used to tufa cast the naja form, the interior curve of which was left aith an earthy texture, while the top surface was decorated with a scallop using a single curved stamp repeated. The center interior is set with a triangular natural blue turquoiose stone, the bezel for which was hand cut from mill rolled sheet.
The unit with backing is soldered to the casting and two stamped silver drops strengthen and beautify the junction. There are 20 ovoid girdle seam beads as wel as 6 bi-cones, also with girdle seams. These are made of sheet silver.
The ovoid form is created using a male female die while the bi-cone beads are formed and also have a beautifully hidden seam along the side leading from the hole to the girdle.
