About The Navajo Button Wire Earrings with Hoop Drops

Sterling silver ingot rolled into sheet was used for the fluted hand stamped buttons with copper wire loops on the back.  The hoops are tufa cast, hand finished and decorated with a hand made stamp.  Wire loops at top and for earwires are drawn from ingot silver.  

Ear wires are new, made using traditional methods in keeping with the age of the buttons and hoops.

Beautiful tufa cast stamp decorated hoops are as fresh today as they were when crafted by a Navajo silversmith nearly 70 years ago!  The antique fluted button tops have new traditional hand-made wires with a hook from which the hoop is suspended.  (You may have another pendant you would like to use with these !)  Feminine and comfortable, these sterling silver earrings go with you from business to pleasure--weekdays through weekends because timeless sltyle is always in fashion.
