View Full Size Image of Four Zuni Nugget-Cut Turquoise Sterling Bracelets, Jewelry by Artist Unknown
Sterling sheet, mill rolled and smelted silver drops were used in fabrication of the four bracelets, each set with eight hand-cut natural turquoise stones. The shank of each cuff is a sturdy strip of rolled silver ingot approximately 1/16" thick.
Bezels are hand cut of lighter weight with a file serrated edge. Each of the total thirty two blue to blue green turquoise stones has been shaped with what seems like random grooves and roses. Viewed at a 3/4" angle from the top or side, each stone prsents like a little mountain or nuggest, 3/16" diameter average.
