Signal Fire Readiness on Deserted Beach

We love paintings for all kinds of reasons.  This one speaks to a circumstance referencing rescue fire preparedness.  Stranded on an uninhabited island, flammable logs have been assembled, so as to be ready to signal a passing ship or airplane--an implied narrative without a spoken word or script, but telling just the same.

"Unknown artist" is appropriate when a work of art is unsigned and a supported opinion about who made it is not available (on Savvy Collector).. "Attributed to" precedes the name of an artist when information suggests that it likely was made by that artist (on Savvy Collector).
