Each earring has 40 turquoise petit point stones 4 mm length X 1 mm width.  The necklace is hinged for fluid fit and movement..  There are 143 petit point cut stones measuring approximately 4 mm length X 1 mm width.  In additional there are 5 round cut cabochons 2 mm in diameter for a total of 148 stones.

Turquoise is completely devoid of visible matrix.  It is a high grade natural material of 7 hardness that is typical of Nevada material.  The color resembles more matrix-free Lone Mountain or even Fox mine stone.

Born circa 1940, this Zuni jeweler is respected as a master of needlepoint jewelry.
