- About The Seven Panel Sterling Floral Bracelet - 8 Amethyst Cabochons
Sterling silver sheet and wire were mill rolled and drawn by hand, from ingot material, to create this bracelet. Seven (7) oval cabochons were custom cut from natural amethyst gem stones, one for each of seven linked panels. Solder fabrication secures the links and all basic as well as ornamental construction.
Four (4) Forget-me-not flowers frame each stone. Their silver repousse petals embrace the cabochons which are set with four gracefully tapered stem-like prongs. Drops of silver fill the spaces between the flowers, like so many buds about to bloom and a single drop forms each blossoms heart. The box clatch is cleverly hidden within the seventh panel, upon which the maker's mark, Sterling and Taxco Mexico marks are stamped. Clasp tongue is marked with an eagle stamp.
