About The Modernist Bracelet of .970 Silver with Natural Amethysts

Heavy segmented bracelet, its .970 pure silver creating this handsome panel bracelet is from smelted, copper alloyed ingot purer than .925 sterling.  Hand crank mill rolled sheet and drawn wire were used in fabrication of all aspects of his bracelet, from aesthetically clean, deceptively simple settings for six large, luminous amethysts, to the hand-wrought safety chain at the box clasp.

Collar bezels, attached only to one side of an oval, concave, reflective substructure, hold each double-sided cabochon in place.  The point at which each collar is attached to its bottom plate serves as hinge link to the loop soldered to the reflective substructure of the segment next to it, etc...

These lilac-hued stones are clear with variations of purple intensity throughout each cabochon.  Occasional inclusions and crystal growth patterns play with light, creating captured rainbows within the overall dusky presence of this very romantic piece!
