About the Artist | William Chapin currently resides in Phoenix. Arizona having left decades ago to put down roots in Toledo, Ohio. Mr. Chapin earned his BFA in painting and drawing from Arizona State University in 1974. For several years his paintings were marketed through the Artisimo Gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona and the Desert Art Source in Palm Desert and in La Jolla, California. Now Mr. Chapin enjoys the challenges of creating commissioned paintings. the latest being an extremely vertical southwestern landscape titled Mystic Canyon. |
