(Born 1939) Born in the Netherlands, Nix studied at the Royal Academy of Visual Arts, earning her MFA there in 1958.
Her work is in the National Museum for Women in the Arts in Washington, DC; at the Museum of the Holocaust in Providence, RI; at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and at the Allen Library at the University of Washington in Seattle.
This very active artist resides on Mercer Island in Washington state. She has received several commisions to include a mural, The Inadvertent Garden Mural located in New York in 1999.
Her artist's books tend to receive awards for their excellence, selling out in short order. These routinely sell in the $250 to $500 range.
