Heavy Ingot Cuff with Magnificent Bisbee Turquoise

Ramon Platero

About The Heavy Ingot Cuff with Magnificent Bisbee Turquoise
Jewelry

Sterling silver sheet and swedged wire worked from ingot.  Four (4) natural elongated freeform turquoise stones are smooth bezel set with one of three (3) hand-made leaves between each.  On each leaf is a large silver drop at the base.

The background is stamped with a fine chisel line texture looking like flowing water as light moves over the surface when the bracelet is rotated.  From one end to the other, the cuff width increases 1 1/4" to 1 7/16" lending a dynamic sweep to the piece overall.  The carinated borders provided added dramatic depth.

The type of Bisbee in this cuff is called "Lavender Pit" because where the red and lamp black matrix meets the blue, an illusion of lavender or purple is created.
