About The At Rest

His sensitive portrayal of dogs and farm animals, pairs well with the subtle application of waterbased pigments.

About Basil Bradley
(1842-1904, British)  "Basil Bradley was an English artist who flourished in the 19th century. He was known for his realistic depictions of Irish rural life in watercolor. He was a careful recorder of the Irish landscape and a sympathetic chronicler of rural life.

Bradley exhibited with the Old Watercolour Society and the Royal Academy. He became an associate of the Society of Painters in Watercolours in 1867 and a member in 1881.

Examples of Bradley's art can be found in leading museum collections internationally including the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, Manchester Art Gallery and the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney." taken from AskArt.com
