18K white gold was used to create the openwork body of this wide band. Yellow gold, of fine repeated cup and bead texture, was used to create the border. A casting from lost wax, for both white and yellow gold components were made. Each piece was then hand detailed, before the solder assembly was completed.
The "north star" brocade openwork of the band is bright cut with such finesse that the edges around each form and each opening sparkle like diamonds !!!
