About The Untitled Linear Abstract

Geometric designs outlined in either copper or gold.  Three (3) sunfaces are depicted, each amidst a rectangle.  Some defining lines are zig zag.

About Ron Jackson
(Born 1958, Navajo)  Ron's Navajo name To'a'h ani' translates to Near-to-Water.

Jackson's technical training in architectural drafting at the Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute is evident in his artwork.  In 1987 he earned his BFA from Arizona State University.

Watercolor has been his primary medium, branching into pastel, acrylics, ceramic masks made of clay and lastly jewelry.  

He has won prizes at Gallup Inter-tribal and at the Indian Market in Santa Fe since 1987.  In 1995 Jackson won 2nd place at the Eiteljorg Museum Indian Market.

His work has been sold through the Lovena Ohl Gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona as well as the museum shops at the Smithsonian Institute and at the Heard Museum in Phoenix, Arizona.
