- Description
- Though the encircled initials IAB have not been identified, other jewelry items, by this artist, have been found with the silver quality mark of 950. It tests for at least sterling and is also stamped with a single digit numeral eagle--the earliest when eagle stamps were revived after WWII.

- About The Silver Bracelet of Three Oxidized Panels
This elegant three panel cuff bracelet is fabricated from hand-mill rolled silver ingot. Each rectangular section has quarter rounded corners and a rolled edge. Joining is accomplished with two fine tube and pin hinges. A beautifully engineered box catch, with safety chain, secures the cuff.
The deeply oxidized sections are slightly concave, adding visual dimension to the graceful, fluid, modernist freeforms pegged into their dark back grounds. Each is carefully cut and highly polished so that they seem to float over and in the surrounding darkness.
Artful, contrasting, organic simplicity and beautiful execution have created a beguiling statement accessory !

Taxco de Alarcón usually referred to as simply Taxco is a small city and administrative center of Taxco de Alarcon municipality located in the Mexican state of Guerrero. Taxco is located in the north-central part of the state, 36 kilometres (22 miles) from the city of Iguala, 135 kilometres (84 miles) from the state capital of Chilpancingo and 170 kilometres (106 miles) southwest of Mexico City.
The city is heavily associated with silver, both with the mining of it and other metals and for the crafting of it into jewelry, silverware and other items. Today, mining is no longer a mainstay of the city's economy. The city's reputation for silverwork, along with its picturesque homes and surrounding landscapes, have made tourism the main economic activity.
