About the Artist (Born 2001) Mr. Ben learned the art of Navajo sandpainting from his famous father Joe Ben, Jr.  Born in Shiprock, New Mexico, this Navajo artist is also a 6th generation traditional farmer.

Zach Ben is owner and founder of Bidii Baby Foods, LLC, a company producing organic, indigenous baby foods.  He is also apprenticing to become a Medicine Man.

As per the artisti's website: 

"The materials I utilize in my works are semi precious stones, mineral sands, and sand stones. The pigments are collected locally and  with some of the exotic semi precious stones that are collected around the world."
