- (Born 1968) This Utah resident is known for his Tonalist landscapes, meaning the thrust of his subject matter is about the feeling of a place versus its specific geographic features."Allen Lund's paintings are intended to give the spectator distinct sensory impressions beyond the purely visual, but involving all the senses, and being registered emotionally as a recollection of serene communion with nature. His works may provoke a sense of fleeting perceptions like the scent of pine in the air, or the musical murmur of water cascading in a secluded mountain brook."
