About the Artist | (Born 1926) Born in Calais, Maine, Marilu Norden showed an interest in making art at an early age. She also was fond of the performing arts. Art classes were attended at Syracuse University. As an adult Norden worked as a fashion model, performed as a singer with big bands and acted in films and television commercials. Once a resident in Santa Fe, New Mexico Norden painted professionally while continuing her onstage work. To date, she has written two novels, Unbridled: A Tale of Divorce Ranch and The Ghost Painter. The first of these has garnered awards. Currently Marilu Norden is a Phoenix, Arizona resident where she writes and paints professionally. |
