About the Artist | (Born 1941, Navajo) Verda J. Toledo, Navajo citizen married a gentleman from Jemez. Moving to Jemez pueblo, she began making pottery in the early 1990's. Toledo is best known for her matte finish pottery bowls embellished with striking Mimbres designs. |
