|About the Artist||(Bonr 1938, Taiwanese) Born in Taipei, Lifa Shaih was educated at the National Taiwan Normal University. He later studied at the Paris National Academy of fine Art in France.
Known for his prints and paintings, Shaih is also a repected commentator and writer.
Shaih has exhibited his art internationally, including at an art gallery in New York. He is a member of the Taiwan May Painting Association, the Taiwan Literature Research Association and the Taiwan Culture Exchange Center. He was a participant in the 9th International Print Biennial.
Shaih's published books include A History of the Art Movement in Taiwan During the Japanese Occupation and People of the Taiwanese Soil.
