- (Born 1933, Zuni) Alex Seowtewa's formal art training consisted of one year at the University of St. Joseph in Albuquerque, NM. He was awarded a one year art scholarship.The artist spent several years painting murals inside the Historic Old Zuni Mission Church "Our Lady of Guadalupe".
