Made of fine gauge, mill rolled ingot silver sheet and drawn wire, this very striking fabrication is bezel set with 19 hand cut, green to teal, natural turquoise cabochons. Twenty eight are shaped like teardrops, 1/4" X 3/16" and one is round 1/4" in diameter.
Teardrop and crescent repousse elements enhance and balance the placement of turquoise, along with fine rope twist traceries of silver wire and silver drops along the top and bottom of the bow.
Unusual and rare outward pointing repousse elements at center and at each end of this pin, give the overall "exclamatory" appearance to this work of art. A long pin with safety catch effectively secures this treasure to dress bodice, lape or even better, centered as a "bow tie" with a crisp shirt collar !
