- About The Sterling Silver Button Post Earrings
Sterling silver mill-rolled ingot was used to create the hand-made button post earring tops. A hand-cut steel, male/female stamp was used to create the dome and fluted design simultaneously. Serration of the edge was file finished. Heavy gauge sheet was pre-stamped with artist's mark for each pendant back. Fine bezel sheet and smelted sterling drops were then soldered in place, shaped for the oval and tear drop stones to be set in each pendant.
Sleeping Beauty turquoise of the most perfect natural blue was cut from high grade nugget to form the matching two 5/16" X 1/4" ovals and 3/8" X 1/4" tear drop cabochons. We have supplied large silver comfort clutches to secure the posts.
