About the Artist | (Born 1934, French) Brigitte Coudrain was born in Paris, France. Although she created paintings, Coudrain is best known for her etchings. The influence of her companion, Johnny Friedlaender is entirely obvious. She held her first one-woman show in the United States at the Horn Galleries, New York. Brigitte Coudrain has been the subject of numerous exhibitions in major galleries in Paris, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Berlin, Jerusalem, Krakow, Tokyo, Chicago and New York. During the late 1960's and early 1970's, Brigitte Coudrain spent a considerable amount of time in New York City. |
