The back of each tab is slightly and perfectly finished like a cabochon of turquoise--for stability allowing the perimeter to be thinned to a finer rolled edge.
Ear wires of drawin ingot silver, decorated with Navajo-made antique silver buttons have been added for wearing. The attachment is knotted cord, covering a soldered silver ring only at the top suspending from the wire.
If requested, earwires and button can be removed.
