About Mary Mitchell-Trejo
This twentieth/ twenty first century Navajo sculptor in clay is known for her depiction of traditional Navajo women draped in blankets.

Mary graduated from Goshen College located in Goshen, Indiana in 1996.  After graduation the artist became an art teacher at Pinon Middle School located in Pino Navajo Nation Arizona.
