This truly elegant example of artist's Don Supplee's early aesthetic and fine jewler's skill is a timeles expression of his Hopi roots. Worn solo or with one of Don's fabulous pendants, this work of wearable art will always remain a durable statement of not just this one skilled created soul, but the Southwest's indigenous heart.
14K yellow gold was drawn into wire and mill rolled for sheet in fabrication of the chain segments and decorative box catch, while the 12 golden corn ears were cast using a lost wax process based on an initial hand-carved model. The oval Lapis used in this distinctive clasp is hand cut and gem quality.
