About the Artist | (Born circa 1958) Bernard earned his BFA from Arizona State University in 1981. Since 1983 he has exhibited steadily in group exhibitions, solo exhibitions (12 to date) and in invitational shows held in both museums and private galleries. Bernard's pottery/ sculpture has appeared in many publications: American Crafts, Architectural Digest, Ceramics Monthly, House Beautiful, Metropolitan Home, House & Garden, the New Yorker, the New York Times, the New York Times Magazine and Phoenix Home and Garden. Most recently Bernard has shown his globular earthenware forms at the Patina Gallery in Santa Fe, although the venerable Ferrin Gallery in Pittsfield, Massachusetts has hosted 2 solo exhibitions for Bernard as well. The Faust Gallery (Scottsdale and Santa Fe) offers Bernard's pottery for sale more recently. |
