(Born 1968) A member of the Korekore Tribe and the Eland totem, Gift first attended school at the Mukwenya Primary School in the Guruve District. He later moved to Matsvitsi Secondary School where he completed his Ordinary Level.
Gift's grandfather, the renowned Shona sculptor, Henry Munyaradzi, taught him how to handle the tools necessary to fashion stone sculptures.
In 1980 he sold his sculptures to the National Gallery in Harare. Seven years later he moved to Tengenenge, a community of sculptors located roughly two hours from Harare. Gift's sculptures have been exhibited in at least nine different countries: Holland, Germany, France, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Norway, Italy and the United States of America.
