About the Artist | (Born 1935) Both a painter and printmaker, Antonio Díaz Cortés has utilized studios located in Mexico, at the University of Wisconsin and at the Tokyo University of the Arts in Japan. He earned a doctorate from the Polytechnic University of Valencia concerning Vitrography, which is engraving on glass. A linguist, Cortés speaks French, English, Spanish and Japanese. His solo exhibitions number eighty five (85) taking place in many countries. He has participated in group exhibitions in excess of 100. Various museums around the world include his work in their permanent collections (USA, Mexico, France, Japan, Germany, Columbia and Croatia). |
