About The May Day

Dark circular shapes at each corner are lether covered framer's weights to compensate for paper's slight curl, as the artworks by Fairey on SavvyCollector have not been previously framed.

Shepard commented below about his motivation for May Day.

"May Day is a tribute to those who stood on the outside of society’s margins but pushed their way inside. The courage of their convictions galvanized events that altered our political and cultural geography."
