(circa 1925 - 1992) Daughter of Adam Martinez and Santana Roybal, Anita Martinez won many awards at Santa Fe Indian Market between 1981 and 1991. Her work was exhibited in the famed 1974 Seven Families in Pueblo Pottery exhibit.

She was known for her polished blackware, black on black as well as carved blackware with brown matte background in jars, bowls, seed jars, some with bear head effigy lids and oval lidded boxes.
