- Description
- Fine rope twist wire and stamp "comfirmed' smelted raindrops accent this elegant piece throughout. A most unusual detail, however, is the 5 sweetly rounded petals of each blossom. It is strung on foxtail chain with sterling wire wrap closures. The dark patina is original. No effort was spared in making one of the most dear and beautiful necklaces we have had the honor of presenting.

- About The Delicate Silver Squash Blossom Necklace AAA Blue Gem Stones
Sterling ingot rolled into sheet and drawn into fine wire was used in fabrication of this wonderful necklace. Natural, highest grade turquoise from the Blue Gem mine was hand cut into 35 round 1/8" diameter and 120 tear drop 1/4" X 3/32" cabochons.
134 silver beads were made for this necklace. Seams of these two part rounds are smooth and the overall slight ovoid shape and their size are reminiscent of new sweet peas and natural black pearls.
Each of the 12 blossoms and naja are completely covered with an organized lace work of deep blue to teal turquoise stones, the bezels of which are so finely serrated. They resemble the millgrain on bezels for diamonds.
