About The Stormy Mountain Turquoise & Sterling Silver Bracelet

Silver mill-rolled into sheet was used for the base of all "face" decoration, supplying a surface for sheet bezels and the drawn wire rope twist surrounding each and the hand stamp decorated low dome wire framing.  Sheet was also used for the hand made and chisel stamped curved leaf on either side of the cluster.

Smelted drops dot the spaces between the settings.  Three swedged bands of silver form a strong shank.  Soldered to the back plate at its top, bottom and across the center, all three taper to converge at a terminal bar either side of the cuff opening.

Eight of the most beautiful Stormy Mountain mine turquoise were hand cut and polished for the smooth bezel settings in the cluster spanning the entire bracelet's width.  The color is deep and borders on translucent with a black iron-like matrix that looks inlaid.

Likely created by a Navajo jeweler, not sure why he or she didn't hallmark it.
