Sterling silver sheet was used to fabricate the concave curved ovals and the smooth edged bezel settings within. Each earring is set with a mirror free form cut cabochon made from halves of a single split turquoise nugget.
This turquoise is natural, of the highest grade deep blue with a red matrix. Each cabochon measures approximately 7/16" X 3/8".
The clean mid 20th century modern design is fitted with commercially-made clip findings. They can be worn comfortably by persons with pierced as well as non-pierced ears. Conversion to pierced earrings is possible.
