|About the Artist||(Born 1940, Mexican) After studying at La Esmaralda in Mexico City, Ms. Tarrago won first prize for engraving at the Salon de la Plastica Mexicana.
Scholarships allowed her to travel to Europe, studying in Warsaw, Poland with leading Polish graphic artists and in Holland with a group of noted Dutch engravers. Tarrago also studied drawing with Dr. Atl (Gerardo Murillo) and engraving at the Advanced Graphic Art Studio with Guillermo Silva Santamaria.
