35 Coral Cabochon Silver Necklace

Johnson Todacheeny

About The 35 Coral Cabochon Silver Necklace

Sterling silver and red coral were used in the creation of this necklace.  Silver sheet was used as a foundation for hinged structures and serrated bezels cut to fit 35 natural cabochons of hand-polished branch coral.

Half-round wire was drawn to make the saw cut and file-shaped decorative frame around each of the wire hinged sections.  Small silver drops fill spaces between the settings.  Smaller gauge round and half round wire were used in loops for attachments and for the hand-made chain completing the back of this collar.

The beautiful neck ornament, with its delicious red coral, comes to life with the movements of its wearer.  Like all the best of Native American jewelry, it is designed perfectly to accent and compliment the beauty of its owner with a beauty of its own.
