About the Artist | (1921-1998) Francis Joseph Meyers was an influential art instructor in Ohio. Meyers attended the Cleveland Institute of Art, majoring in Drawing, earning his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1950. His work is in the Cleveland Museum of Art; the Akron Art Institute; the Speed Museum in Louisville, Kentucky and in the permanent collection of the Westminster College in New Castle, Pennsylvania.
