Kachina Channel Inlay Bola Tie

Frank Vacit

About The Kachina Channel Inlay Bola Tie

Sterling silver sheet and wire made from ingot were used to fabricate the channeled body for inlay and the tips.  Elements were hand cut and shaped to a meticulous fit for the stunning details of Vacit's kachina figure.

The sterling bolo tie tips were made by artists working for C.G. Wallace.  These tips were classic Wallace Trading Company designs created by silversmiths who later became famous for their own work.

Fine and flawless, this wonderful kachina bolo tie was created during the peak of Frank Vacit's all too brief twenty to twenty five years as an active jeweler.  The vibrant hues and contrasts in this bolo are nothing short of alive !
