Silver ingot mill rolled into sheet, drawn into wire (some of which has been further hammer swedged for the naja) and natural, deep blue Persian turquoise, with black white edged matrix, are the materials used in creation of this necklace.
All the beads are hand made in two parts with a girdle seam. Holes are perforated from the inside before the halves were joined.
The naja is more complicated. A crescent body was formed inside and outside with "tri wire" swedged from ingot. A twist of two round drawn ingot wires fills the space between. Each terminal was hammered flat for the applied stamped fluted button decorations.
The bale was made in one piece with the tab upon which the bezel set natural Persian cabochon is set and appears inside the naja crescent. Necklace is on foxtail chain with sterling wire wraps and hook and eye.
