About the Artist | (Born 1951) "Born and raised on Long Island, New York to a Lithuanian/ Polish family, Thomas Wezwick got his earliest art inspiration from his mother, with whom he took lessons. Always interested in making art, he worked with children in the mental health field in New York and later in Salt Lake City, Utah. He and his wife, a practicing psychiatrist, moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico before settling in Santa Fe. It was there he became a dedicated plein-aire painter. Now divorced, living on his ranch in Northern New Mexico, Wezwick now pursues his passion--full-time plein air oil painting, specializing in, but not limited to landscapes". taken from www.AskArt.com |
