Worn as easily in Paris as the Southwest, this neck piece has a balanced presence.
Sterling silver chain is made from wire 1/16" in diameter. Each link and the hook closure have been soldered. Five rectangular stations were created from mill rolled sterling silver sheet. They each have 1/8" deep bezels and have been set with hand cut naturla high grade deep blue turquoise. The turquoise cabachons are all rectilinear with polished "natural" surfaces showing matrix and crystal form.

About the Artist | Husband wife, each born during the 1930's. Leekya Deyuse was Robert's father, while Bernice's sister was Alice Quam. These two began to making jewelry together in 1953, the year they were married. |
