About the Artist | (Born 1961, Navajo) "Nelson Tsosie is well known for his pastel portraits and figure studies of contemporary and traditional Navajo people set against their native landscape." His work as a sculptor working in stone as well as bronze is also highly regarded. Tsosie's work is included in books and magazines highlighting the talents of Navajo artists.
