The decorative face of each cuff link is made of mill-rolled ingot sterling silver. From this sheet small circular bezels were fabricated and soldered to a sterling back plate, which was cut to the scallop-edged diamond shape of the bezel grouping for each cuff link face.
Total of 50 inlaid turquoise stones range from intense blues to blue green to teal in color.
These beautiful "diamond" cuff links by Zuni master, Frank Dishta, are without a doubt the finest example of channel inlay this artist produced. The resulting diamond shaped "honey combs" with their Blue Gem turquoise inlays have a refined, tailored elegance rarely seen in contemporary work. After 80 years, these diamonds are proving they "are forever".
