Thoughtfully Engineered Navajo Concho Belt

Wilson Smith

About The Thoughtfully Engineered Navajo Concho Belt

Due to the date of this belt's execution, it was likely made by a descendent of Wilson Smith, a Navajo jeweler born circa 1900l

This handsome concho belt is like a hug around the waist in silver !  The 2" wide black leather, while providing a dramatic background for 12 elegant sterling silver conchos plus an ample buckle, serves as a comfortable cushion.

Because each silver piece is laced on by means of a 3/4" wide belt strap, the conchos will keep their even spacing.  Though not pierced for wear, holes can be easily made.  The current panel closes at an ideal 39", but arrangements can be made for up to 46" with another wide leather panel.

This belt was made to be worn by a real person and will be comfortable as well as fashionable!
