Tommy Singer was known for his classic, striking Navajo traditional inspired designs before his innovative mosaic inlay was birthed.
Handsome, boldly executed cuffs like this one along with buckles, belts and beads became his hallmark as much as his T accompanied by a crescent moon.
There is a positive joy and strength in Tommy's work. Before the stamping and more complex "competitive" pieces came a purity of expression that can only be thought of as classic.
There is something undenyingly energizing about this cuff. Put it on and you can feel it !

About the Artist | A Navajo silversmith (1940-2014) who specialized in chip inlay, Singer began in the Shiprock region, later setting up his shop in Dilkon, Arizona.
