About the Artist | Coiled baskets made from native vegetal fibers and dyes, are configured at Second Mesa villages--Shungopovi, Shipaulovi and Mishongnovi. Wicker baskets, made from native vegetal fibers and mineral and vegetal dyes, are produced at Third Mesa villages, including Oraibi, Kykotsmovi and Hotevilla in northeastern Arizona.
