- About The North Star Clip On Earrings
- These elegant clips of natural gem quality blue turquoise and white pearl shell are all occasion perfect! The tapered cruciform "north star" design is composed of 12 carefully cut channel inlaid pieces of intensely twilight blue natural turquoise within a background of white mother of pearl consisting of four cut inlaid pieces that form the curve of each 7/8" diameter disc. Each earring surface is slightly domed so light can effectively play across the polished flush cut surface of the inlaid design. The North Star is a symbol of constancy. It is the method by which one's bearings can be found in the night sky. How beautifully appropriate for these changing times.
