About The Tufa Cast Silver Cross with Blue Gem Color Turquoise

This handsome, cleanly made cross is from traditional Navajo hands, bearing no maker's mark for spiritual reasons--should the cross be ever buried with diseased wearer.  

The intense blue single natural turquoise stone set in its center is without matrix, representing the sky.  It is also a "male" stone".  All turquoise represents "life" further deepening the appropriateness in this rendering of a familiar Christian symbol. 

Stripped of all "boastful decoration", this beautiful piece was created with thoughtful respect.  

The cross itself is tufa cast with an added loop/ bail and bezel both of ingot silver.
